Utility Inspector Class I (Gas Construction)

Location: Rocklin, California, supporting California teams

Salary: USD $60.00–$75.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect structures related to gas line construction and testing.
• Coordinate with contractors and inspect work for quality, structural soundness, and compliance with specifications, building codes, and regulations.
• Conduct general inspections or focus on gas pipe systems, trenching, and shoring.
• Work independently and objectively within a construction team environment.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority when unsafe work conditions exist.

Requirements

• Three or more years of industry experience.
• Member in good standing of Local Union IBEW 1245.
• NACE Level II certification.
• API 1169 certification.
• Obtain and maintain PG&E-required Operator Qualifications.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work independently.
