What you will do
- Lead growth of the transportation practice across Arkansas and Kansas, with emphasis on Arkansas Department of Transportation work.
- Build relationships with DOT clients, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders across the Central Plains.
- Lead business development, pursuit strategy, proposals, and interview presentations.
- Provide senior technical oversight for transportation planning, design, and delivery in line with DOT standards.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing transportation team.
- Oversee quality control, budgets, schedules, and long-term regional transportation strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Professional Engineer registration.
- At least 8 years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
- Experience delivering projects for state departments of transportation, preferably including Arkansas Department of Transportation.
- Client relationship management and business development experience.
- Experience leading teams and making independent technical and project decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience working across multiple state DOTs, including Arkansas and Kansas.
- Transportation design or construction experience.
- Experience as a Project Manager or senior technical advisor on complex transportation projects.
- Knowledge of DOT procurement, delivery processes, and funding programs.
