Product Quality Leader (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own product quality performance across assigned product families from suppliers through manufacturing and customer delivery.
• Support new product development, design changes, cost-reduction initiatives, validation, and manufacturability reviews.
• Identify customer and product risks using manufacturing data, field feedback, and performance indicators.
• Lead containment, mitigation, structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing operations to improve First Pass Yield, reduce quality holds, rework, bottlenecks, and customer escapes.
• Lead initiatives to reduce scrap, test failures, warranty costs, complaints, and other Cost of Poor Quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, process management, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, reliability, or operations with demonstrated leadership and cross-functional impact.
• Experience driving quality improvement, defect prevention, corrective action, and risk mitigation in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, RCCA, or CAPA.
• Ability to prioritize work, influence cross-functional teams, deliver results, and coach or develop team members.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience supporting strategic customers in manufacturing.
• Background in Cost of Poor Quality reduction, warranty analysis, or reliability improvement.
• SAP experience.
