Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) - Enterprise Risk - Senior Vice President (Finance)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $200,000–$250,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Provide independent oversight of non-investment risks across investment and financing platforms.
• Assess operational, financing, model, technology, third-party, cybersecurity, valuation, and other enterprise risks.
• Partner with investment teams, portfolio management, finance, legal, compliance, treasury, operations, and senior management to strengthen risk governance and controls.
• Lead cross-functional projects, risk assessments, thematic reviews, and deep dives into operational resilience, vendor risk, data governance, model governance, and business continuity.
• Monitor emerging risks, manage escalations, and prepare reporting and presentations for senior management and governance committees.
• Manage and develop junior risk professionals and help build the broader risk organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise risk, portfolio risk management, operational risk, or investment risk within an alternative asset manager, bank, insurance company, or institutional investor.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience managing junior team members and leading cross-functional initiatives or projects.
• Project management experience across multiple workstreams, including stakeholder coordination and delivery of complex initiatives.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior investment professionals and executive leadership and synthesize complex issues for senior audiences.
• Understanding of enterprise-wide risk governance frameworks and regulatory and market developments affecting private markets and alternative investment platforms.
