What you will do
- Manage regulatory compliance activities for assigned food ingredient portfolios and support regional regulatory strategies.
- Provide guidance on ingredient approvals, labelling, claims, and market access requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and interact with EFSA, the European Commission, and other regulatory authorities.
- Maintain product authorizations and monitor regulatory developments across the EMEA region.
- Translate complex legislative requirements into practical business guidance and assess regulatory risks.
- Partner with commercial, technical, quality, and marketing teams on launches, customer projects, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Master of Science in chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
- At least one year of regulatory affairs experience, preferably in a multinational food ingredients company.
- Solid understanding of EU food legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with regulatory submissions to EFSA and interactions with regulatory authorities.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly and practically.
- Excellent English communication skills required.
