Specialist, Regulatory Affairs (Food Ingredients)

What you will do

• Manage regulatory compliance activities for assigned food ingredient portfolios and support regional regulatory strategies.
• Provide guidance on ingredient approvals, labelling, claims, and market access requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and interact with EFSA, the European Commission, and other regulatory authorities.
• Maintain product authorizations and monitor regulatory developments across the EMEA region.
• Translate complex legislative requirements into practical business guidance and assess regulatory risks.
• Partner with commercial, technical, quality, and marketing teams on launches, customer projects, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Master of Science in chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• At least one year of regulatory affairs experience, preferably in a multinational food ingredients company.
• Solid understanding of EU food legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory submissions to EFSA and interactions with regulatory authorities.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly and practically.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
