Obesity Forecasting, Associate Director (Biotech)

What you will do

• Lead obesity brand forecasts and ad-hoc forecasting requests.
• Analyze product performance, revenue potential, sales coverage, market size, and market penetration.
• Use physician, patient, and transactional datasets, including Xponent, NPA, LAAD, and 852, to develop and explain forecast assumptions.
• Provide data-driven insights for Quarterly Business Reviews, Situation Analyses, and Brand Plans.
• Coordinate forecasting and analytics inputs with marketing, finance, value and access, and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead rapid-turnaround assessments, manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, and execute projects independently.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of analytics and/or forecasting experience; or a master's degree and 5 years; bachelor's degree and 7 years; associate's degree and 12 years; or high school diploma/GED and 14 years.
• Experience in forecasting, market research, or business analytics, preferably in biopharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
• Experience with advanced spreadsheets, patient-based forecast modeling, dynamic patient models, and forecasting tools such as Forecast Pro.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with SAS or R; experience with Tableau is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and explain complex concepts to varied audiences.

• Knowledge of global access and reimbursement policies, competitive environments, product development, and commercialization strategy.
• Working knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry databases and current developments in the biopharmaceutical industry.
