CI Manager (Manufacturing): Leading and embedding the Kraft Heinz Management System across the Tomoana manufacturing site with an accent on Lean, Six Sigma, standardised work, and productivity improvement. Focus on reducing systemic losses and waste, building performance dashboards, coaching leaders and frontline teams, and delivering sustainable gains in safety, quality, cost, reliability, engagement, and delivery.
Location: Tomoana, New Zealand

What you will do
- Lead and govern the Tomoana site’s continuous improvement program, including priorities, progress tracking, steering groups, and accountability.
- Implement line-focused operating systems with Operations and Engineering, including standard work, daily checks, and rapid problem-solving.
- Coach leaders and frontline teams in Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, loss analysis, and repeatable standard work.
- Build productivity reporting, dashboards, performance management tools, and visual boards covering yield, labour, overhead, and capital use.
- Lead cross-functional projects to reduce costs and waste, improve yield, optimise labour and equipment use, and strengthen corrective actions.
- Develop CI capability and lead the CI team by setting goals, coaching, managing performance, and building an accountable culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Green Belt certification or an equivalent continuous improvement certification.
- Experience leading a continuous improvement team, Lean initiatives, or transformation projects.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Practical structured problem-solving skills, including DMAIC, A3, and root-cause analysis, plus experience with KPIs, dashboards, and operational governance.
- Full working rights in New Zealand are required.
