Operations Supervisor (Industrial Distribution)

Location: Onsite at SPP El Paso, TX — 540A, 9 Butterfield Trail Blvd, Suite A, El Paso, Texas 79906. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday hours from 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate warehouse procurement, sales orders, purchase orders, vendor claims, and product transfers.
• Oversee inventory levels, cycle counts, stock availability, inventory shrink prevention, freight expenses, and accounts payable discrepancies.
• Manage efficient merchandise receiving, storage, routing, loading, and preparation of customer shipments and deliveries.
• Supervise, train, and support assigned employees while ensuring compliance with company, government, customer, safety, security, and quality requirements.
• Investigate defective or unacceptable goods and services, coordinate corrective action, and maintain operational records.
• Analyze reports, collaborate with management on process improvements, operate within budget, meet delivery times, and support sales objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, one year of similar experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of operations experience in an industrial distribution or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Experience managing operations for a $5–10 million wholesale warehouse facility and supervising a team.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office and inventory management software, including Prelude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, auto parts, or irrigation supplies is helpful.
