What you will do
- Provide courteous customer service and resolve service-related issues.
- Process teller transactions, balance daily activity, and safeguard cash and negotiable instruments.
- Open new accounts, maintain account records, communicate disclosures, and support account-related transactions.
- Identify customer needs, recommend suitable banking products and services, and make appropriate referrals to licensed representatives.
- Support vault, safe, and ATM operations while maintaining an orderly customer area.
- Follow regulatory, compliance, security, audit, CIP, and BSA procedures; assist with training new branch staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of combined retail banking experience as a Teller and/or Customer Service Representative.
- Understanding of banking products, services, operations, risk, compliance, fraud, and loss prevention.
- Strong customer relationship, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and phone skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Weekend work, extended hours, coverage at neighboring branches, and occasional travel for mandatory training may be required.
