What you will do

• Present news stories and other content across broadcast, web, social media, and digital platforms.
• Write, research, copy edit, and deliver clear and concise news stories.
• Produce newscasts and provide direction to newsroom team members.
• Report from the field, conduct interviews, and respond to breaking news situations.
• Participate in promotional activities and public appearances.
• Edit video clips and create content for websites and eMedia platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to ad lib when required.
• At least two years of experience in news reporting or anchoring, depending on market size.
• Strong on-air presence, news judgment, and knowledge of local and national current events.
• Experience guiding, directing, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to work any shift and manage multiple deadlines.
