GCM Transaction Manager II - Public Finance

What you will do

• Negotiate transaction deal documents and facilitate timely deal closings.
• Manage transactions where Wilmington Trust serves as trustee or provides complementary roles and products.
• Act as the client-facing deal manager and internal liaison for operational and support groups.
• Coordinate deal structures by asset type and assist Sales with business development initiatives.
• Meet with clients, attend relevant conferences, and resolve escalated client issues.
• Apply risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards, escalating issues when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or 7 years of combined higher education and work experience including at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with GCM deal closings and corporate trust is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
• Strong legal background and knowledge of risk and regulatory controls.
• Work as an individual contributor under management supervision; no supervisory responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration or Juris Doctor degree.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
