What you will do
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions across web, mobile, batch, web services, messaging, mainframe, and reporting applications.
- Support and maintain test automation processes and frameworks, including effective test data management strategies.
- Define automation strategy, evaluate testing tools and requirements, and advance automation standards and initiatives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex testing challenges related to changing technologies and toolsets.
- Review test strategies and plans, collaborate with developers, testers, support staff, and business partners, and present to senior leadership.
- Mentor less experienced staff and help manual testers develop automation skills.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodology and test automation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with UFT/QTP, Selenium, keyword- and data-driven frameworks, and automated web service testing tools.
- Programming and scripting experience with Java, Ruby, or VBScript, plus strong experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with HP ALM or similar test lifecycle management tools, Continuous Integration, testing metrics, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Must be a US citizen, Green Card holder, GC EAD holder, or H4 EAD holder. A BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent experience.
