Senior Gas Inspector

Location: Rocklin, California; field work in rural and urban pipeline and distribution right-of-way areas

Salary: USD $30.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect gas line construction and testing to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Coordinate and inspect third-party contractor work for quality, structural soundness, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform visual welding inspections and inspect gas pipe installations, trenching, and shoring.
• Maintain radiographic documents, weld numbers, and assigned welder identification numbers.
• Update drawings using redlines and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• AWS CWI, NACE I, and API 1169 certifications are required.
• At least 3.5 years of relevant experience.
• IBEW 1245 union membership is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high energy level in a dynamic workload.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain, get in and out of vehicles, and work outdoors in seasonal conditions.
