Assistant Cost Manager (Graduate) (Construction)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands, with hybrid working

Salary: €32,000–€40,000 per year

What you will do

• Assist with cost estimates, project budgets, and cost planning.
• Support procurement strategies, contract administration, tender preparation, and contractor bid evaluation.
• Prepare cost reports and help identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Track project expenditure and support value-for-money outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, designers, and internal project teams.
• Develop commercial, communication, and stakeholder-management skills through project work.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Curiosity, enthusiasm, attention to detail, numeracy, and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage workloads, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback.
• No prior technical experience is required; full training, mentoring, and support are provided.
