Shipping Clerk (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Normal, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 6:30pm to 3:30am

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily route manifest logs, trailer tracking, dock and yard movements, and truckload utilization.
• Verify receiving and shipping windows and communicate issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate trailer inventory, packing slip, returnable container, and shipping system records.
• Coordinate logistics to and from outside warehouses and enter incoming receipts in a timely manner.
• Update the Hot Parts Board when expedited parts arrive and support production and supermarket line replenishment.
• Maintain BOS and CTPAT shipping, receiving, transportation, and compliance requirements while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as a shipping or receiving clerk, inventory coordinator, or in a similar role.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution; automotive experience is valuable.
• Experience with Microsoft applications, including Excel.
• Up-to-date forklift license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow safe working procedures.
• ERP knowledge is beneficial and can be learned on the job.
