What you will do
- Lead system-wide pharmacy business operations, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
- Oversee the 340B program, contract pharmacy performance, regulatory compliance, and opportunities to expand program savings.
- Direct pharmacy supply chain strategy, including procurement, contracting, inventory optimization, and vendor management.
- Optimize pharmacy revenue cycle processes, including charging, billing, reimbursement strategy, and charge master maintenance.
- Lead enterprise pharmacy analytics, financial modeling, medication-use analysis, and cross-functional initiatives across sites of care.
- Supervise, recruit, mentor, and develop pharmacy leaders while driving collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Massachusetts pharmacist license required.
- At least five years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery trends, drug therapy, fiscal management, process improvement, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate with executive leadership.
- Ability to perform frequent standing and walking, lift 5–10 pounds, and handle medication-related and computer-based tasks.
Nice to have
- PharmD and completion of general and specialty pharmacy residencies.
- Seven or more years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience.
- Academic medical center experience.
- Master’s degree in a health-related field or business administration.
