Commercial Escrow Officer

Location: Hybrid in Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Salary: $28.09–$37.44 per hour

What you will do

• Establish new commercial escrow accounts and process escrow documents according to company policies and procedures.
• Complete simple and complex commercial real estate escrow transactions while acting as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Work with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate transaction risk.
• Account for and disburse funds according to contract terms.
• Review, record, and file closing documents, including final closing statements and title documents, while meeting delivery timelines.
• Prepare escrow status reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of escrow-related experience, preferably in commercial escrow.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work with proprietary programs and adapt quickly to new software and technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Escrow officer certification may be required depending on the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
