Pre-Sales Technician (PCB)

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States; U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required

Salary: $49,673–$78,516 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus may apply; alternative shifts may include a shift premium.

What you will do

• Review customer data packages before quotation and confirm that all required information is complete.
• Identify technology, base materials, and special internal or external process requirements against manufacturing capabilities and guidelines.
• Interface with customers to resolve data problems and discrepancies.
• Review advanced and challenging designs with application engineers before quotation.
• Translate prints, prepare quotation worksheets and checklists, and forward them to the Senior Inside Sales Administrator.
• Communicate customer RFQ requirements promptly and professionally across customer service and inside sales functions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the printed wiring board industry and five years of PWB experience.
• Three years of experience in the specified process discipline within a preproduction environment.
• Expert process knowledge and the ability to handle assigned jobs and challenges independently.
• Experience using Star Systems, Valor/Genesis, or Gerber viewers for design data review.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, arithmetic, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to comply with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and TTM export-control procedures; access to restricted ITAR products and technical data is limited to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents.
