Foundations - Assistant General Superintendent

Location: Rogers, Minnesota, United States; requires 100% travel throughout the United States and regular work on construction sites.

Base compensation: $90,000–$135,000 per year, varying by geographic location, skills, and relevant experience.

What you will do

• Support the General Superintendent in managing daily field operations and project execution.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements, training programs, and incident reporting procedures.
• Inspect field work, materials, plans, and manufacturer documentation to ensure quality compliance.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, clients, project managers, and site engineers.
• Monitor workforce schedules, project budgets, change orders, extra work, reports, and job closeout activities.
• Supervise, mentor, train, evaluate, and develop field personnel, including hiring and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, procedures, project specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
• HAZWOPER, OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour, Pipelayer’s Card, Excavation Safety, Confined Space Entry, Blueprint Reading, CPR, and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain them.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, iPad applications, and iPhone applications.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, reports, policies, and legal documents, and coordinate project needs effectively.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check, and willingness to join a union if required.

• Working knowledge of HCSS Software Suites, PlanGrid, and Power BI.
