TL;DR
Field IT Engineer (Texas & Louisiana) (Cisco/Network Infrastructure): Supporting and maintaining WANs, LANs, field servers, applications, hardware, and Cisco VoIP systems across field locations with an accent on level-two network support, infrastructure administration, and vendor coordination. Focus on troubleshooting distributed field environments, implementing operational improvements, and delivering on-site remediation across South Texas and Louisiana.
Location: Remote within the USA, with up to 75% travel across South Texas and Louisiana; approximately three travel days per week and remote work from home on non-travel days.

What you will do
- Provide level-two support for WANs, LANs, field servers, and field applications, including on-call and on-site remediation.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure at field locations.
- Troubleshoot and administer Cisco VoIP installations, including user additions, changes, and moves.
- Install, replace, and dispose of field computer hardware.
- Coordinate IT activities and projects with field management, Corporate IT, vendors, and consultants.
- Identify proactive solutions that reduce costs or improve operational efficiency, and report on activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on network experience; 4 years of computer network experience preferred.
- Experience with Cisco VoIP/UCCE.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Ability to travel approximately three days per week within South Texas and Louisiana.
