TL;DR
Move and Furniture Technician (Facilities and Workplace Operations): Supporting office moves, furniture installations, workspace reconfigurations, deliveries, and minor repairs with an accent on safe, functional, and efficient workspaces. Focus on reading floor plans, operating moving equipment and company vehicles, setting up workspaces and event areas, and responding to facilities work orders.
Location: Onsite at the headquarters in Portland, Oregon, Monday through Friday

What you will do
- Perform office, workstation, and furniture moves, deliveries, installations, and reconfigurations.
- Set up workspaces for onboarding, conferences, training sessions, and events.
- Complete minor furniture repairs and adjustments.
- Respond to facilities service requests and work orders.
- Maintain storage, loading dock, and inventory areas.
- Operate company vehicles and moving equipment safely, including basic inspections and load securing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Oregon driver license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and understand floor plans.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and moving equipment.
- Strong organizational, customer service, reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in facilities, commercial moving, furniture installation, warehouse, or maintenance work.
- Familiarity with modular office furniture systems and cubicles.
- Experience with work order management systems.
- Experience operating box trucks or cargo vans.
