Safety Specialist (Part-Time, SeaWorld San Diego)

Location: hirify.global San Diego; onsite work throughout the park

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete assigned accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain the accident investigation database and complete investigations within assigned timelines.
• Attend required safety meetings.
• Conduct and support EHS inspections throughout the park.
• Follow up on corrective actions and assess compliance with SEA Safety policies and OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three days of unrestricted availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Working knowledge of computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage confidential information and multiple tasks.
• Ability to walk long distances, climb lengthy staircases, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts and interact positively with diverse guests and coworkers.

Nice to have

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous theme park experience.
• Certification in, or ability to become certified in, Safety department training programs such as Intelex.
