Director, Core Business Center - Cabinet Efficiency (Industrial Automation)

Location: Middletown, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid position requiring three days in the office

What you will do

• Lead the Cabinet Efficiency business, setting strategic direction and managing operational execution, market growth, and financial performance.
• Own the U.S. P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, profitability, cost control, and KPI management.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for cabinet cooling, climate control, thermal management, power distribution, monitoring, and enclosure optimization solutions.
• Lead new product introduction planning and execution while influencing global product roadmaps and portfolio lifecycle decisions.
• Use customer insights, market segmentation, competitive intelligence, analytics, and demand planning to identify growth opportunities and improve business decisions.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams, strengthen customer and channel relationships, manage strategic negotiations, and resolve major customer or business escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; a master’s degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in product marketing management, product management, business leadership, or related engineering and market disciplines, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading connectivity, networking, industrial communications, automation, or related technology portfolios in global product organizations.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership, portfolio strategy, product launches, go-to-market execution, demand planning, forecasting, and inventory strategy experience.
• Strong executive-level communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Fluent English required; the role requires national and international travel, including trips of up to two weeks or more, plus a valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• PMP or Agile/SAFe certification.
• Functional Safety certification, such as TÜV.
• Experience with custom or engineered solution opportunities and competitive positioning frameworks.
