Logistics Planner

Location: Pullman, Washington, or Lewiston, Idaho, United States

Salary: $37.02–$43.10 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with import, export, and transportation regulations.
• Work with carriers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to optimize routing, transit performance, and shipping costs.
• Investigate and resolve shipment issues, customs delays, and transportation exceptions.
• Maintain shipping documentation and records required for import/export activities and government regulations.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend supply chain process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or related business experience.
• At least two years of export experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• At least three years of shipping experience across all transportation modes.
• Strong computer and proofreading skills, with the ability to learn product concepts and technical details.
