Senior Water Treatment Project Manager (Water Treatment): Leading the planning, design, construction administration, and delivery of complex municipal water, wastewater, reuse, and resource recovery facilities with an accent on multidisciplinary team leadership, process design, and client relationships. Focus on managing complex treatment plant projects, coordinating scope, schedule, and budget, and applying advanced technologies such as MBR, EBPR, RO, and desalination.
Location: Austin, Texas office; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do
- Lead analysis, design, construction administration, and technical documentation for water treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facilities.
- Guide multidisciplinary engineers and designers across multiple offices and disciplines.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Serve as the primary client contact and build relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on MBR, EBPR, reverse osmosis, and desalination technologies.
- Support proposal development and business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain Texas licensure within 6 months.
- 6+ years of water and wastewater treatment experience, including process evaluation, design, and construction of municipal treatment plants.
- Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary treatment plant projects and teams.
- Technical knowledge of water and wastewater process design and treatment plant civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, client relationship, and sales skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
- Experience with projects exceeding $1 million in fees.
