Iowa City Beauty Manufacturing Plant Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Iowa City Plant, United States; onsite manufacturing plant role. Technicians must work rotating shifts on any day of the week, including weekends, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Relocation is generally not paid.

Starting pay: $26.72 per hour, plus bonus if applicable and benefits.

What you will do

• Operate high-speed converting, packing, and other automated production equipment.
• Control manufacturing processes from computer terminals and keep production flowing.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and data.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and hand trucks.
• Support production performance, quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and changing shift schedules.
• Ability to work around high-speed equipment and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, lift 50 pounds, climb and stand for extended periods, and enter confined spaces.
