What you will do
- Lead a business unit with full profit and loss responsibility across hauling and post-collections operations.
- Manage division-level leaders across operations, fleet management, sales, finance, human resources, safety and environmental compliance, and environmental engineering.
- Execute local market strategies and tactical initiatives to improve safety, customer experience, efficiency, and profitability.
- Drive commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal sales efforts with area and regional sales leadership.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, operating, regulatory, safety, accounting, and ethics standards.
- Build relationships with customers, vendors, municipalities, government, community, and environmental groups while leading talent development and change initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of progressive leadership and management responsibility.
- At least 3 years of profit and loss experience.
- Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, execution, analytical decision-making, and change leadership skills.
- Experience managing multiple sites, business lines, and large teams, including sales team development.
- Previous experience in environmental services, labor relations, and a Fortune 500 company.
