Manager, NPC New Product Transition Project Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource plans.
• Manage complex new product transition projects and multiple medium-sized projects through team leads.
• Ensure delivery against product and process specifications, budgets, resource plans, and timelines.
• Document project, program, and process development and transfer information across functional areas.
• Lead research and development of new technologies and incorporate resulting processes, designs, and methodologies into products and services.
• Manage assigned staff, including work allocation, professional development, and end-to-end people management.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of concepts, theories, and principles in the relevant job family.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and how the function contributes to business objectives.
• Experience identifying and resolving technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to manage a generally homogeneous team and adapt plans to operational challenges.
• Ability to guide, influence, and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
