What you will do
- Own and manage the second-line IT SOX/MAR program while leading junior team members.
- Build an integrated program addressing IT SOX/MAR and state cybersecurity regulations, including New York DFS Part 500, California Consumer Privacy Act Article 9, and the Wisconsin Insurance Data Security Law.
- Represent regulatory requirements in IT GRC and cybersecurity initiatives to develop automated continuous controls assurance using a unified data platform and ServiceNow.
- Partner with first-line IT teams responsible for in-scope applications and infrastructure.
- Present technical positions and reach consensus with third-line auditors on scoping, control coverage, and IT process conclusions.
- Identify dependencies across accounting, business process, IT controls, segregation of duties, application scoping, and system interfaces while improving and automating processes.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in MIS, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 8β12 years of experience in information systems, systems audit, IT controls, technology risk, or regulatory compliance.
- Preferred: 6β8 years of technology risk, IT audit, or regulatory compliance experience in public accounting, consulting, or professional services.
- Technical understanding of IT SOX/MAR program design and experience building or enhancing regulatory compliance programs.
- 1β2 years of people leadership experience.
- Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, professional judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
