Dean of Culture (Education)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, USA

Salary: $62,750–$82,500+ per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Develop and reinforce a positive, structured, achievement-oriented, and nurturing school culture.
• Execute school-wide culture systems, including entry, dismissal, transitions, and incentive programs.
• Support students with significant behavior needs through individual behavior plans, tiered behavior supports, SEL instruction, and MTSS interventions.
• Manage the school-wide PBIS system, including teacher training, data management, incentives, and events.
• Maintain accurate student culture documentation and support school-wide attendance interventions.
• Support teachers with discipline, student relationships, and instructional practice, while engaging parents around behavioral concerns.

Requirements

• Experience teaching or supporting students in an urban, underserved community.
• At least three years of experience working with large groups of students strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success raising achievement levels among traditionally underserved students.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Completion of PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, and Cogent Federal Fingerprinting clearances.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; expertise in restorative practices is preferred.
