TL;DR
Cloud Engineer - 1973 (Microsoft Azure): Building and operating secure, scalable PaaS and SaaS cloud capabilities for Medline with an accent on Azure infrastructure, container strategies, and infrastructure as code. Focus on designing Azure Kubernetes Service environments, managing secrets and vulnerabilities, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and resolving complex infrastructure problems.

What you will do
- Define, build, and operate PaaS and SaaS cloud capabilities in Microsoft Azure.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, repeatable, and reliable infrastructure environments.
- Apply platform changes using configuration management and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Advise Information Security on cloud vulnerabilities, threats, and application deployment issues.
- Manage assigned projects, participate in on-call rotation, and resolve complex technical problems within defined SLAs.
- Coach team members and collaborate with infrastructure, application, operations, and security teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Microsoft Azure Foundations certification.
- At least 4 years of experience deploying PaaS and SaaS cloud services and 1–2 years of Terraform deployment experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service, secrets management with Azure Key Vault or HashiCorp Vault, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and DevOps processes.
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Bitbucket, TCP/IP networking, and routing.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, Agile practices, architecture support, and technical coaching skills.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of experience deploying PaaS and SaaS cloud services.
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform deployments.
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud security, Azure Kubernetes Service, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, source control, architecture support, and team coaching.
