Industrial Electronic Electrician

Salary: $37.20–$55.80 per hour; starting rate $40 per hour

What you will do

• Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose and restore variable frequency drives, generators, motor control centers, motors, transformers, switchgear, power supplies, converters, and safety relays.
• Perform functional testing using ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Configure and test generator packages, load banks, transformers, control consoles, and output circuit breakers.
• Perform lockout/tagout, circuit hookups and disconnects, grounding verification, and initial generator loading procedures.
• Coordinate safety and facility AC monitoring with Production Test, Maintenance, and outside contractors.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of electrical-related work experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Experience using general repair tools and equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and any shift.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of technician experience and training, including knowledge of hirify.global products.
• PLC controls experience and experience operating or testing Solar packages.
• ASE, UTI, or similar certification.
• Airframes and Powerplant license.
