IT Senior Auditor (Banking)

Location: Phoenix, AZ — CityScape; occasional travel required

What you will do

• Plan and assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls across assigned IT audit coverage areas.
• Lead or participate in process walkthroughs, document process narratives, and test high-risk or complex controls.
• Prepare risk and control matrices, audit test steps, conclusions, and recommendations using Workiva/Wdesk.
• Test and validate management action plans intended to resolve audit issues.
• Support integrated audits across finance, banking operations, credit administration, risk management, and compliance.
• Provide audit status updates, respond to review notes, and support the annual audit plan.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, regulatory compliance, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of internal control analysis, risk assessment methodologies, COSO, IIA standards, FRB Supervisory Letter 13-1, FFIEC IT guidance, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal, and industry requirements.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills, with entry-level time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work at the Phoenix, AZ location and travel occasionally.

• CISA or CISSP certification.
