Sustainability NPI Materials Program Manager (Semiconductor)

Salary: $124,000–$171,000 per year

What you will do

• Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and communicate demand signals to suppliers.
• Lead the Materials Core Team and coordinate NPI deliverables across buyers, planners, production control, and engineering.
• Create, release, and update materials strategies for new projects and execute commercialization materials plans.
• Coordinate supplier sourcing, price and delivery negotiations, supplier selection, risk assessments, and performance monitoring.
• Manage materials change control, cost targets, quality issues, key process indicators, and total landed cost targets.
• Identify critical and long-lead parts, define inspection requirements, develop supplier road maps, and resolve supplier quality issues.

Requirements

• Expertise in a specialized materials, sourcing, or manufacturing discipline.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend practices that improve products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risk, or complexity.
• Advanced analytical problem-solving and judgment for complex issues.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for influencing cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
• Must work in Santa Clara, California; relocation is not eligible for this role.
