Warehouse Operations Manager (Outbound)

Location: On-site in Romeoville, Illinois, United States. Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee multiple warehouse departments and shifts within a single distribution center.
• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates.
• Manage safety programs, audits, inspections, and training to maintain a compliant work environment.
• Champion LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and improve productivity, accuracy, throughput, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on long-term operational strategies.

Requirements

• Associate degree required; additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with LEAN or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and operational software.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 30–40 pounds, occasionally handling items up to 75 pounds, and work in variable warehouse temperatures.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma certification or a similar qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
