Staff Accountant (eCommerce)

Location: On-site in North Dallas, Texas

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, amortization, and general ledger adjustments.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and analyze financial results.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Operations to ensure accurate transaction recording and classification.
• Support inventory accounting, fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, audits, internal reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Follow internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders only.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and an ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or CPA candidate.
• NetSuite experience.
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, distribution, or inventory-intensive environments.
• Experience with inventory or fixed asset accounting and external audits.
• Familiarity with sales tax, payment processors, or revenue accounting concepts.
