Activities Coordinator - Memory Care (Life Enrichment)

What you will do

• Promote the Embrace philosophy with residents, families, and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six Embrace pillars: Wellness, Enrichment, Creativity, Connection, Challenge, and Teamwork.
• Oversee daily Memory Care operations in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead at least 5–7 innovative resident programs each day and support activity planning, coordination, evaluation, and participation.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff.
• Monitor programming processes, compliance, fiscal responsibility, and resident, family, and staff satisfaction.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in Alzheimer’s or dementia care, senior recreation programming, and management.
• Associate’s degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills for speaking, reading, writing, and working with residents, staff, supervisors, and third parties.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Experience with innovative, person-centered programming.
• Activity Director Certification, Certified Dementia Practitioner certification, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant certification.
