Retail ASE Certified Technician (Automotive)

Salary: $38.53–$49.88 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety, reliability, and quality standards.
• Work on engines, brakes, steering and suspension, HVAC, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Service both domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Collaborate with technicians to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements while maintaining a clean, orderly work area.

Requirements

• Experience repairing engines, steering and suspension systems, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain required ASE certifications under applicable state or local law, including certifications covering engine repair, brakes, steering and suspension, HVAC, electrical systems, drivetrains, engine performance, and automatic transmissions.
