TL;DR
Clinical Trial & Patient Support Associate (Clinical Research): Supporting clinical trials through document management, pharmacy technician duties, site coordination, and patient communication with an accent on regulatory compliance, good clinical practices, and accurate study records. Focus on monitoring protocol adherence, coordinating medication and supply deliveries, preparing for audits, and resolving protocol issues.

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri, USA; office-based. Some travel may be required.

What you will do

  • Monitor clinical trial activities for compliance with protocols, good clinical practices, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Organize, maintain, and archive study documents, including case report forms, dispensing records, regulatory forms, protocols, and correspondence.
  • Order, dispense, and coordinate delivery of study medications, medical devices, equipment, and supplies; calculate dosages and provide instructions when required.
  • Communicate with trial sites, coordinators, patients, investigators, and sponsors to coordinate visits and resolve incomplete data or protocol issues.
  • Participate in protocol development, quality assurance audits, continuing education, conferences, and study-related literature review.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences; clinical trial experience is preferred.
  • Current Missouri State Pharmacy Technician Registration.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and willingness to complete routine administrative and documentation tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior clinical trial experience.
