Senior Data Center Technician - Day

What you will do

• Monitor critical facilities systems, investigate alarms, and follow escalation procedures.
• Provide physical and remote support to colocation customers, including fiber and copper cross-connects and equipment troubleshooting.
• Handle ticketing requests, access requests, Remote Hand support, orders, delivery logistics, and general customer inquiries.
• Perform hourly facility walkthroughs, collect equipment readings, and monitor electrical, mechanical, and security conditions.
• Prepare customer environments, perform rack-and-stack and cable-management tasks, and support facility expansions.
• Manage packages, visitor access, maintenance windows, operational logs, repairs, and interconnection circuit orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; technical industry certifications are strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of data center experience and fundamental knowledge of cooling and power infrastructure.
• Experience with fiber splicing or testing, technical troubleshooting, rack-and-stack work, and cable management.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, multitasking, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite, plus the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
