Vice President, Network Strategy & Management Value-Based Contracting (Healthcare)

Location: Remote anywhere in the Continental United States; ability to travel required.

Salary: $207,000–$392,100 per year

What you will do

• Develop and manage provider network strategy, including reimbursement, contracting, unit cost management, claims configuration, and network operations.
• Oversee network development staff and external consultants across expansion markets.
• Lead cost, coverage, growth, and network expansion analyses for health plans.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for network costs and provider contracts.
• Analyze claims trends and market data to support contract negotiations and rate reviews.
• Lead fee schedule development, market expansion and M&A contract analysis, and strategic negotiations with health plan, legal, finance, and business development stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in managed care network development.
• 3+ years of experience in government programs.
• Experience managing staff, including hiring, training, workload, and performance management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work remotely from within the Continental United States and travel as required.

Nice to have

• MBA or MHA degree.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-market value-based contracting programs across Medicaid, Medicare, including MA/D-SNP, and/or commercial markets.
