QA Engineer - IATF & Ford Customer Requirements (IATF 16949 and Ford CSRs): Maintaining and continuously improving the automotive Quality Management System with an accent on Ford customer requirements, audits, corrective actions, and performance management. Focus on coordinating compliance initiatives, managing Q1 and FEWMR performance, applying automotive Core Tools, and leading risk management and problem-solving activities.
Location: Guadalupe, Mexico

What you will do
- Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 and company standards.
- Manage Ford Customer Specific Requirements, Q1 status, FEWMR objectives, customer portals, scorecards, and reporting systems.
- Coordinate customer, certification, and internal audits and drive organizational readiness.
- Lead management reviews, risk management, contingency planning, corrective actions, and structured problem solving.
- Coordinate training, competency development, document control, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor supplier and process performance and lead cross-functional compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience coordinating an IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
- Advanced knowledge of IATF 16949 and strong knowledge of Ford Customer Specific Requirements.
- Experience supporting Ford production programs, interacting directly with Ford customers, and maintaining Q1 status and customer scorecards.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing and leading customer, certification, or internal audits.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and root cause analysis.
- Advanced English proficiency in verbal and written communication; advanced Microsoft Office skills. Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
