What you will do
- Support project managers and engineers with plans, specifications, cost estimates, exhibits, and submittals under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.
- Assist with residential, commercial, and site development designs, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare drawings and supporting documents.
- Analyze engineering parameters, site constraints, design alternatives, constructability, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, memoranda, and engineering studies using approved formats.
- Participate in site visits, field activities, construction observation, data collection, permitting, and coordination.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Agricultural Engineering at an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Familiarity with engineering principles, practices, and procedures.
- Basic proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
