I&E Technician (Oilfield) (Electrical and Automation Equipment): Overseeing and coordinating the installation, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation equipment for battery builds, upgrades, and new well installations with an accent on contractor coordination, project scheduling, and field reporting. Focus on troubleshooting PLC logic, SCADA networks, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and NEC code compliance across multiple oilfield projects.

What you will do
- Plan and coordinate installation activities according to infrastructure schedules.
- Provide IFC drawings and supporting documentation to contractors.
- Oversee installation of lightning protection, communication towers, burner management systems, gas measurement equipment, and ESP surface equipment.
- Test, inspect, operate, and troubleshoot electrical equipment using P&IDs and loop diagrams.
- Perform minor PLC edits, troubleshoot control logic, and support POP and Flowback activities.
- Coordinate multiple projects, track daily activities, forecasts, costs, risks, and estimated completion times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of I&E experience, including 2 years of oilfield experience.
- Knowledge of SCADA network architecture and local and national electrical codes, including NEC.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle insurability standards.
- Ability to coordinate contractors, participate in safety meetings, and train operations personnel on new equipment.
Nice to have
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
- PLC programming and basic programming experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
