Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist, Cardiac Sonographer (Electrophysiology)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hospital laboratory setting with live patient cases, local, regional, and national travel of up to 40% overnight, sometimes on short notice.

What you will do

• Provide clinical and technical assistance and training to electrophysiology and interventional cardiology physicians and laboratory staff.
• Support the use of AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters, the CARTO System, CARTOSOUND, CARTOMERGE, and Stockert RF generator during procedures.
• Educate customers on electrophysiology products, usage best practices, and technical information.
• Identify sales opportunities, build customer relationships, and facilitate engagement with key decision-makers.
• Plan and schedule case support while collaborating with territory managers, clinical specialists, field service engineers, marketing, and regional leadership.
• Stay current on product instructions, clinical literature, technical troubleshooting, and new product information; mentor new commercial team members when requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional or military experience.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical echocardiography laboratory.
• Must maintain certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical ultrasound, echocardiography, cardiac ablation, cardio imaging, electrophysiology technology, healthcare, and relevant disease states.
• Valid United States driver’s license required.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% overnight and work variable hours in hospital laboratories, including extended sitting, protective gear, live patient cases, and occasional lifting up to 60 pounds.

Nice to have

• Electrophysiology, cath lab, cardiovascular device, or EP industry experience.
• CEPS, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Experience with complex technical systems or critical patient care environments.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, autonomy, flexibility, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
