Finance Intern (Biotech)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; work is performed with the finance team in Northeast Minneapolis.

Salary: $16.80–$23.10 per hour. Undergraduate students: $18.00/hour; graduate students: $24.00/hour.

What you will do

• Support Enterprise Finance and Business team objectives alongside financial analysts.
• Perform daily sales analysis, annual budgeting, and monthly expense variance analysis.
• Help prepare quarterly business presentations and manage finance processes.
• Develop, validate, and execute reporting-related projects.
• Create reports and templates, support system enhancements and fixes, and manage data.
• Analyze results and identify key business drivers while handling multiple projects.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
• Must have completed at least the sophomore year or six semesters of university or college coursework.
• Currently studying Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Basic understanding and experience with Excel.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, detail-orientation, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during summer months, with United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OneStream, Power BI, Microsoft AX, Sage MAS, or JET.
