Dual Rate Shift Manager - Table Games

Location: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; on-site casino-floor duties with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: CAD $33–36 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage assigned Table Games sections and oversee all table-games operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise, coach, train, mentor, and evaluate Pit Managers, Floor Supervisors, dealers, and other Table Games team members.
• Manage staffing levels, table limits, game spread, utilization, inventories, player ratings, cash-drop data, and operational reports.
• Monitor game protection, casino security, surveillance activity, equipment integrity, and player-information confidentiality.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and disputes while coordinating with Hosts, Food & Beverage, Credit, Player’s Club, Cage, Security, and Surveillance.
• Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, Hard Rock policies, responsible gaming requirements, and responsible alcohol-service standards.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Table Games Pit Manager or above.
• At least five years of Table Games experience as a Dealer, Floor Supervisor, and/or Pit Manager across Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, and applicable novelty games.
• Bachelor’s degree or related certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong guest-service, communication, ethical, conflict-management, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Table Games policies and procedures, casino compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-limit pits and high-action games.
