TL;DR

What you will do

  • Manage daily site activities for foundation projects in line with safety, design, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Directly supervise lead personnel and field staff across project sites.
  • Coordinate workforce, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project schedules.
  • Lead job hazard meetings, stretching sessions, toolbox talks, and safety corrective actions.
  • Maintain daily logs, equipment and material schedules, timecards, and documentation for incidents and quality issues.
  • Participate in pre-construction and project meetings while responding to customer, regulatory, and business inquiries.

Requirements

  • At least five years overseeing crews responsible for deep foundation installation, including piledriving, micropiles, caissons, and helical piles.
  • At least five years of experience with foundation and ground-improvement equipment, including drills, concrete pumps, and batch plants.
  • Ability to oversee multiple jobs while maintaining strong safety, quality, and schedule standards.
  • OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to read construction plans, specifications, policies, reports, and legal documents; use Outlook, Word, Excel, iPad, and iPhone; and apply practical mathematical concepts.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, be over 18, and join or be willing to join the union.
