Salary: Starting at $22 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill level.

What you will do
- Facilitate the overall look and presentation of live news productions.
- Coordinate technical and staging requirements between producers and the production crew, including music, graphics, lighting, camera blocking, guest interactions, and set furnishings.
- Direct daily newscasts and other original productions, including post-sports shows, special events, and webcasts.
- Operate Ross Overdrive APC, switchers, routers, robotic cameras, and audio boards during live productions.
- Provide instructions to production crew before and during broadcasts, and prepare daily production reports.
- Track and reconcile technical and operational issues while also supporting floor direction and studio upkeep.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Communications, Television Production, or equivalent related experience.
- Five or more years of professional television production and directing experience.
- Experience directing live broadcasts using Ross Overdrive or an equivalent automated production system.
- Working knowledge of NRCS, video servers, graphic playout systems, video routers, switchers, ENG-style cameras, robotic cameras, wireless lavalier microphones, and audio boards.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced live production environment.
- Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge; ability to work accurately under deadlines and pressure. Resume must include a demo reel link with PL track.
