Registered Behavior Technician

Location: Westchester County, NY; home-based and clinic-based client sessions

Salary: $26–30 per hour

What you will do

• Work one-to-one with clients in home-based and clinic-based settings.
• Implement BCBA-supervised treatment plans covering toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills.
• Prepare program materials and collect accurate session data and notes using data collection software.
• Communicate with BCBA supervisors, colleagues, families, and other professionals about goals and procedures.
• Assist with parent training, clinical assessments, ongoing evaluations, meetings, and training.
• Track supervision hours, renew the RBT certification annually, and follow BACB, HIPAA, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current RBT certification, or willingness to obtain it within three weeks of starting.
• Three years of ABA experience and three to four years of one-to-one client work, including in-school or in-home experience with challenging behaviors.
• Three to four years of experience working with children or adolescents aged 3–18, including case management and behavioral plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe PDF, Google Suite, data collection, and analytical reporting.
• Reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to lift or exert up to 50 pounds are required.
